In this hands-on workshop with maker and blogger Miranda Anderson you’ll learn all the basics of preparing, folding, and dying natural fabric to create gorgeous Shibori patterns. You’ll then learn how to prepare and set the dye and walk through the process start to finish. The magic will happen as you wait, and you will take your original piece home at the end of class.
During the 2-hour class, you will create two gorgeous hand-dyed cotton dish towels.
This class is a perfect introduction into working with textile art, and learning alongside local friends! You’ll also have an introduction into the materials, dyes, preparation, and process so that you can experiment more on your own at home!
*Note: please wear clothes that are okay getting dye on them!
